1. Operator Workflow

Field personnel access localized instances of Overwatch OS over internal mesh Wi-Fi, plotting tracks and sending reports without any upstream internet connection.

2. Ingest & Process

Tactical gateways filter, tag, and prioritize the raw RF data based on mission-specific programmable rulesets loaded onto the device.

3. Command Visibility

When backhaul (Satcom/LTE) is available, tagged critical intelligence is compressed and synced to the enterprise command cluster for multi-theater visualization.

Protocol Interoperability

Overwatch OS acts as a universal translator for tactical signals, breaking down vendor data silos.

  • RF Mesh: Native ingest for Meshtastic (LoRa) telemetry and Position Location Information (PLI).
  • Cellular / IP: Support for standard MQTT and REST endpoints over LTE/5G or Starlink backhaul.
  • Local Hardware: Direct serial integration for closed-loop environmental and vehicular sensors.
  • Data Export: Standardized JSON/GeoJSON outputs for ingestion into existing command systems like ATAK.
